STORY
Dr. Robotnik has rebuilt one of his oldest creations from the ground up: Metal Sonic. If given all 7 Chaos Emeralds, Metal Sonic will become more powerful than Sonic and Shadow put together! Sonic and Shadow set out to find all 7 emeralds before Eggman does; later joined by Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. But Eggman has more than Metal Sonic up his sleeve...
PLAYABLE CHARACTERS
Sonic the Hedgehog - The cool blue dude with an attitude! Sonic can run at the speed of light and doesn't fear anything except water...he can't swim. You think he'd have taken some lessons by now. His story is the SAPPHIRE STORY.
Shadow the Hedgehog - Probably the darkest character in the game. Created on the Space Colony ARK. He can use his chaos powers in order to kick other people's A@#! He uses his are shoes to skate (or run). His story is the CRIMSON STORY.
SUPPORTING CHARACTERS
Miles "Tails" Prower - Sonic's sidekick. This 2-tailed fox is almost always at Sonic's side. He enjoys inventing and tinkering with machinery and other gadgets.
Knuckles the Echidna - Guardian of the Master Emerald, controller of the seven Chaos Emeralds. A loner who joins Sonic on his quest to get off Angel Island. He gets bored sitting there all day.
Amy Rose - Sonic's non- love interest. She is constantly trying to get him to go on a date with her. Thank God she runs slow, or Sonic would be screwed.
Silver the Hedgehog - A telekinetic Hedgehog who comes from the distant future. He is also Blaze's best friend. He can be annyoing, but is very powerful.
Team Chaotix - A group of detectives consisting of Epsio the Chameleon, Vector the Crocodile, Charmy Bee, and Mighty the Armidillo. Espio and Mighty are probably the only smart ones.
Rouge the Bat - A skilled treasure hunter who is also a G.U.N Agent. She is constantly trying to steal the Master Emerald from Knuckles because she enjoys tormenting him.
Blaze the Cat - A level- headed cat from Silver's dimension. She is the guardian of the Sol Emeralds. Don't mess with her or she will turn you into a piece of burnt toast!
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik - A fat old genious who never gives up. He is always trying to steal the Chaos Emeralds, even though he always fails.
Metal Sonic - Eggman's newest robotic creation, and his most powerful yet...
